Gear Vendors. I can set up a group buy. We can give members a very good deal. I'm planning to install a GV in my 71 this winter. I have 2 people intersted at this point. Please contact me at home for info. k-awaterhouse@verizon.net

For which trans?? Any Muncie kits finished and ready to ship? Last time I looked at these they were still developing. That's been over a year!

Wally, I'll check with our sales rep. next time I talk to him ,on the Muncie application.
One of the US Gear people and friend (I'm sorry, can't remember her name right now) went to the 9/19/04 NASCAR race at NHIS Speedway with us. I mentioned your name (while digging for new Muncie info) from Team Chevelle. She rattled off your name quickly and asked if I knew you.

Would a GV unit be cheaper then swapping in a 700R4 in place of my TH350? I know it'd be really kool to have a 6 speed automatic :D

That's odd, don't think I know anyone from there, might be a customer!

The GV deal is near bullit proof but it does require some mods, I would like to see the instruction sheet on a Muncie unit.

Walley ,Sorry, Auto Gear (George) not US Gear. DUUHH. I looked in the GV catalog today and there showing a Muncie 21@22 applications. There $300 or $400 more than the TH400 and TH350 units. Now thinking of that I saw a M21 w/GV unit on Ebay a few months ago,$$$$.
LXS, I think you could get a moderatly build TH700 for the same price. Gear Vendors claim it'll handle 1200HP and 30,000GVW?

So, how much of a savings are we talking about with the group deal? I was thinking of one maybe sometime down the road but if it's a really good deal then I'll jump in on it now. What's the regular price (non-group rate) for a Th350 or Th400 unit?

Interested in a M21 unit, depending on price.

How tricky is the shifting on that unit? Anybody ever drive one?

Hey Wally, any chance on putting a Sticky on this so it stays on top of the post list? I would've missed this one if Bob hadn't mentioned it in another post.

Thanks Mondo...Recommend you call Kurt at GV Cust Support - of course the info you get from him will support GV, but I take the GV staff to be one of integrity so far. All ---- please pass the word that this is the time to take advantage of a great price on a Gear Vendor Overdrive unit and the more people we get the lower the price. If interested please contact the leader of the pack at the top of this post. Or if you know anyone that has been thinking about a Gear Vendor but thought the price was toooo high (it is for us po folk), please let them know. Ok. Thanks for listening/reading. OORAH!
