Has anyone run the Flex a lite electric black magic fan, if so what do think of it. Going to be using a Griffen Aluminum Rad (don't know what size tubes to get) with a aluminum pump and an electric fan. If the flex a lite is not the best choice please tell me what is. The car is a 65 and I need to cool the 406 I'm building (about 450hp) also will the TH 350, w/2500-3000 stall need a automatic rad or will a big B&M coller be enough to keep the trans cool.

Go to my tech forum site at www.inccn.net/techform.htm and check out the cooling issues.

The black magic fan is good but bulky. I would choose a Spal Fan for your ride. Check out http://faninfo@spal-usa.com/html/dampframe.htm for more on Spals. They are very efficienct fans and do what they say they can do. Run them in the puller position and pick the top of the line either in straight or skewed blade design. The latter being a bit less noisy but not as efficient as well.
