I have a new laptop that came with XP on it and I can't get my old DOS data program (IBM Filing Assistant)to give me a full screen no matter what I do.
Well I can go to "Start > run > type command > E: > cd\assit > file and get a sorta full screen but I can't do it with windows shortcuts. (File.exe starts program)
But... that's on one of my other computers which is a desk top with XP Pro (which I would also like to boot up in Win 98 part of the time.)
I thought my (square dance friend) could make it so I could choose between Win 98 or XP when it starts up but he has had it for a couple of months now and I think he just can't seem figure out how to do it.
He told me he couldn't get the thing to work now and the XP cd wouldn't work anymore so he had to do a "restore" but I would have it back before Christmas.
He said he would bring it over and get it's wireless router connected up to my (wired) network but here it is Jan 18th and no word.
Do y'all think I coud do it myself with instructions from here?
(I'm pretty dense)
Anyone close to Kansas City want to help?
