I have been using a Meziere electric pump on my 540 for about 6,000 miles now and it works just fine. I don't run a thermostat and on 100 + degree Texas days the engine doesn't get much over 200 degrees. I do carry a spare motor/impeller section just in case.

The down side is that there are no bosses on it for an alternator bracket and inlet hose routing can be a problem, especially with a low mount alternator.

It's not for everyone, but i'm happy with mine.

Don't get confused as I did at first. Reverse rotation vs reverse flow (is a no-no)
Mine is from Zoops www.Zoops.com
It has a short reverse rotation water pump, Sanden A/C, remote resivoir power steering pump and uses a 7 rib belt.

High quality stuff

Dale, you just saved me some money. Thank you.
I was getting ready to call March and order their setup and I called Zoops and got the same setup for almost $400 less.
Thanks again.
