Dear Guys, some of the lingo escapes me ( I'm out of touch ). What the heck does "slammed" mean. Hey finally our weather is here huh?
Thanks R.B.

It means lowering the car's ride height. Can be done correctly with kits, but is usually done by dolt ricers who simply cut coils and remove shocks, giving that bouncy, wheels- losing- contact- with -the -road look that we all love!

Also plays hell with alignment, caster, camber, and toe...making these cars true tire eaters and death traps! Stay away from the slammed vehicle at all costs! G'day.........out.

I too am under the impression that it is a car that has been lowered dramatically. Not just the usual 1-2" to clean up the side view, through the elimination of the tire wheel well gap. Slammed is something that is practically dragging the ground.

Thanks guys, I suspected it was a term for lowering, I wasn't considering doing it at all, just curious about the word. Happy motoring, now where are those keys? R.B.
