You would think if you were going to go to the effort of trying to fool someone with a re-stamp, you would get it somewhere near to what the Factory did.

Wow... just wow. Those stamps make that blue car here last month with the restamped block almost look good! :noway:

Coincidence that the OP, and the car, are both in NY state??

Dave Birdwell;3668213 Coincidence that the OP said:
Doesn't mean anything necessarily......When I look for stuff on E-Bay I used the 'Nearest distance' sort feature for stuff I wouldn't want to pay to have shipped, or to see what is for sale locally as an alternative to Craigslist and cars.com sort of thing.

I do that as well, but I thought it was kinda ironic the OP only has 48 posts, and puts that up.

I've got to give him credit,he did post them up for everyone to see, even though they look terrible.Seems to be very proud of all those restamps.Hope intended buyers come here for advice, first.

The sad thing is, the 1111437 on the distributor was real.... probably had one of those 71 or 72 crate motor dates tho...

That is the same car that was at Mecum in Indy last may and then at the Can Am Chevelle show. I looked at it for just long enough in may. Tom R had a long talk with the owner at the Can Am show and brought him over to me. Nice old guy but the whole car is Fake and Wrong as Wrong as a car can be PERIOD and he still beleives its real .
