wow!!!!!!!!!!!! i really gotta watch it. posting a reply on a smart phone with fingers the size of an average man's forarm, delivers an entirely different message.

what i meant to say is media blast the inside when exposed and then ecoat it
HAHA! Between small buttons/big fingers and auto-correct, a message can take on an entirely differnt meaning. Happens to me all the time, but it's usually me just being clumsy.

got rid of the drip rails

I see you got rid of the drip rails. I have been thinking about it as well since i dont even wanna put chrome stripping on it anyway i just feel like the water will run rt off the roof and window down into the doors and cause more issues...have you found a way to seal the windows better so that this doesnt happen or whats ur plan?

i'll just put the weather strip channel back in place and a new rubber seal. then make sure the doors and glass are adjusted accordly

on the drip rails. did you just shave them off , or did you hve to weld some holes up. i want to do that to my 68, any help would be appreciated. looks awesome
you'll have to weld the edge of the roof and sill back together. cut six inch sections of the drip rail at a time and weld that back together. another way would be to get a piece of flex edge to form a cap over the sliced edge.

a pre-fit on the rear bumper. decided it needed to be narrowed and pulled in tighter to the body

3/4 of an inch was taken out of each side. then i clamped the ends back to the main body and tacked weld it together

then the inside ends had an equal amount removed, for body clearance
