Took the truck out to Paris Drag Strip last night to do some test n tune. (You know how us career tuners are)

Anyway. Changed from a victor 454-O with a 2'' spacer from last time out and put on a victor jr. with a 1'' spacer an picked up a ton!

Previous best was 1.64 4.72 7.39 @ 92.62

1st run off the trailer with 18lbs in the slicks
1.654
4.667
7.227 @ 95.57 DA 2100 ft

2nd run same setup but took out 2 lbs in slicks to make 16.
1.605
4.584
7.13 @ 95.57

Few runs not worth mentioning cause of spinning but still ran from 7.17-7.19

BEST RUN
Jetted up 2 in the front to make it 86/90
1.560
4.528
7.087 @ 95.27

Lots help from Bob West, All of Team Clueless, Mike Lewis, Mark Jones, Josh N., MY DAD, Aukai, Garret (40Coupe),
And the Follis'

Thanks to all of them, now i'll actually play with some more jetting and chasss changes. I think this truck can go some 6.8x with some tuning and thats ALOT faster than a bunch of haters thought it would go!:beers:

.3 and 2 mph is a big pickup. Congrats. Makes you feel great when something gets you quicker. We spend money sometimes for no gain.

Cool! She's making some more steam for sure! Got any pics off the two intakes? Were they both stock??

Congratulations...I smell 6's soon!

They are both completely stock.
The one was a regular victor 454-O and this is the jr. Very nice gains. I only used the other intake because ts what i had at the time. Ive got some more stuff to do and 6's should be a walk.
Slapper bars were about 3" from the springs, that needs fixed. I also need to lower the front end on the truck cause as it sits the front is higher than te rear.

Thanks for all your help too Jim!

When i get this fully tuned and done ill order a straub hyd roller and do a back to back
