My 72 "W Code" Vert finally off to see the DR.

I finally have my 72 ready for paint. Handed it off to Dr. Dave this past weekend. It will be a NEW car when I get it back.
A little picture update to this point....

The beginning. (Second day of ownership)

A little Body Work.

A little frame work.

Going back the other direction.

Saying Good buy.....

That's me handing Dave my wallet. (All Smiles)

Hopefully Dave will keep us posted on his end. I see GREEN Paint in my future!

Joe if Dave is interested I have the exact fomula for the green with the right metallic thru Sherwin Williams !!!!!

70-72 cars all look the same without bumpers on them.

Nope. 70-72 are the same under the bumper.

I'll try to keep the tread going. Can't work at the pace of Tom. My ETA for finished product is the first of November. Gotta have it ready for the MCACN show. I'll show some before and after pix's along the way. I have most of the under the hood stuff ready to go on. I'm going to get all the interior lined up and finished while Dave is doing the paint. Wish me luck!

48 Sequoia Green with White Interior, White Top and White Stripes.

I have to be honest, green was not one of my favorite colors but after seeing all of the "fresh" Green cars at CB, I'm liking it better every day. :yes:

wow thats the first time i have seen it since i sold it to you. keith did a great job on the body work and you have done a great job on detailing it. im sure dave will also do a great job keep up the good work
