I did a search on headrests and it looks like the 68 bucket seats have the attachment points, you only need the hardware. Is this the same for 68 bench seats? I have a pair of headrests and hardware from a 70 that I can use to add headrests to the bench seat of my 68. Can somebody tell me if this can be done to my existing 68 bench seat or if I need to find a later year.

it should work

but , if I you you,
you should have the metal frames
from the 70's(back rest).
if you do , just swap the "covers" from your 68 on the
backrestsof the 70' :D
if your car has a center arm rest and the 70' does not/visa versa.then you need to match where the headrest mounting goes.a.e bk rest.
it will work,but I don't knopw what set-up you have/// bench w/ center arm rest ???
or full bench.
locations are different
