Came across a 512 4 bolt bare block dated I29 while at work today. Motor has been decked, nothing on the pad. Thinking of buying it since my original motor is not for sale yet. What's a good price to pay. Thanks, Steve

I sold a two bolt main 512 on ebay dated L-19-9 for $987 it was .030 over decked and had damage from a broken roller lifter. Also sold a L 68 cast 512 4 bolt main that was .060 over and needed a sleeve for $850.... just for comparison sake

It depends on the condition and the bore size.
