Okay so my chevelle is a 71 with a 383 Holley 770 street avenger carb. Had the car the past couple days and no problem till today I put 30$ in 93 octane fuel in it and drove it 2 miles home fine. Left 30 min later and after about 3 miles then it started running rough. Got back toy college and the car will stay running but sounds horrible when driving. If I put it in neutral it misfires till about 1500rpm n then goes away but in drive it's nonstop

So all you did was put gas in it? I would disconnect the fuel line at the inlet of the fuel pump and let some gas run into a pickle jar. Let the pickle jar sit for a few minutes and see how much water is on the bottom. Sounds like you got some contaminated fuel!

You may be able to put in a bottle of fuel line antifreeze that will allow some water to mix with fuel! Or worst case you may have to drain the tank and start with some fresh fuel.

good advice here. now where the hell did I leave that pickle jarl:) hmardown

I was able to catch just a little bit of gas and after a few minutes a ball of water formed in the bottom of it
Get some fuel line anti-freeze, the stuff with alchohol in it, and add it to your tank. Run as much gas out of it as you can, and go somewhere else for gas!

Or you can fight with the gas station that sold you the gas and have them pay to drain it. Or you can drain it your self!

I put two containers of I think it's call dry gas or something in it n it's not as bad. Guess I'll just try n run it out n get new gas somewhere else

Just adjust your carb for piss in your tank and after you run it out readjust for the good stuff! Dry gas will work!
