The speedo in my '72 LT1 wagon only goes to 120...It was past that...
The speedo in my 347 T-Bird stops at 85.. Went thru two mile markers in 49.6 seconds... That equals @ 150 mph...
The Illegal Regal shuts off at 120....
If it goes fast, I'll drive it......

I rode shotgun in a Viper around Homestead Speedway with an instructor from one of the driving schools. He gave me play by plays of what the speed was and I remember us doing 165 on the back straight. I also remember coming into pit lane at 75...I thought the speed limit on pit road was 55. He spun the tires pretty hard coming out off pit road too, great fun. I got picked along with my father and friend at the time to go for hot laps in the Vipers before the race started. One of those experiences you never forget.

Had the tach near redline in my 2000 Hayabusa (Suzuki bike) looked down speedo said 180 mph, I thought...hum....supposed to over 200 mph. Kicked up the shifter and sure enough was in 5th gear! IT KEPT PULLING PAST 180 MPH IN 6TH !!! Backed out of it because I was heading back into town and ran out of space.. The adenaline rush was unreal... putted through town at 35 mph and parked it in the garage. Never tried that again. Rountinely hit 130 in it though...

Also had a 1996 Impala SS with many mods...Hypertech chip, headers, LT4 module, intake, etc. True story... I delivered a CHP officers baby and always wanted to race a CHP officer Late one night we raced out on Hwy 152 me against him in his Crown Vic. We headed east towards Dos Palos, CA on the 152. The Impala would shift into OD at around 110, kept pulling to 140 mph and the CHP in his Crown Vic was left behind...he said I was really doing over 140 in a car...

And they thought I was bipolar...crazy thing I did in my younger years..

Nicely played....

120 or so in a V8 S-Blazer (350 TPI / 700R4) I built 20 years ago. 70 in a 32' Go-Fast boat (Twin Big Blocks) in heavy chop - Felt like 150. :)
