I need to get some perimeter bolt valve covers for my new SBC. I have AFR 195 heads and Harland Sharp roller rockers. I want to get some good looking aluminum valve covers that will work well with my application and don't cost too much. Can anyone give me any recommendations? Should I use standard or tall valve covers?

Thanks for the help,

Matt

Tall valve covers work better with roller rockers. The style is your choice. There are so many choices for the SBC. The AFR valve covers are nice, and would complement the heads. But thay are a little over priced for me. Go to a car show or cruze night and look at all the cars and see what you like and go from there.

Yes. I have looked at Summit. There are a lot of choices. I am guessing that some fit and work better than others but maybe the all fit and work the same. I am hoping I can get some info on what others are using and like.

From what Jake says I think I will look for cast instead of stamped but I don't know if fabricated are a good choice also or if I should stay with cast.
