DA was around 2800

I drove 30 minutes to the track, put it in the lanes without cooling off and ran in the 6.90s all night. with mufflers, 275/60 drag radials, only stalling 2000 rpm on the line. let me tell you it was a long drive with 5.13s and 5k stall lol but i had fun

ive played around with launch stall before when running slicks and stalling 3000 is worth .05 in the 60ft over stalling it 2000, so with no mufflers and stalling 3k i think sub 1.40 are in it

i didnt get to run all out because once i got done bracket racing i was going to make another run but they wouldnt let me, but they let one of the top dragster guys go down and i was right behind him... they cater to those people:sad:

im really impressed with the MT et streets, i was doing very very little burnout and it hook great with no adjustments.

i might have a video up later:D

street class is tooooo easy (thats why ive been kicked out before they nitt picked the crap outta my car)... racing with the big boys footbrake is too hard. footbrake i have to go better than .040 on the tree everytime, street pretty much anything will take the win lol
i even beat my brother in his 5.0 mustang he was .08 on the tree i waited till the light turned green and i still broke him out HAHAHA. a fast car in street is nice to have, especially when you pass every car at the 60ft lol
id like to add street class is alot less stressful ;)
well... when greg and his friend with the chevelle are there its ALOT tougher :)

LOL. Just wasn't thinking Nova on the Chevelle forum and didn't read your signature! Good job. That was some crappy air last night. I hope to be back out this week.

Come on man ! You know the Mickey's dont hook:rolleyes:

Congrats
I know the Hoosier do. :yes:But....they only lasted 5 weeks and 30 passes. So I won't be able to afford them again. :noway: I'm putting some street tires on it and swapping out good slicks at the track from now on. At least then I can get a season out of them.

8 inch rims, but they measure 8.5 front to back with my calipers that came with my Coats tire balancer. i ran 28psi, probably could have gone up. a small burnout had no trouble hooking everytime
its definately tucked up in there without mini tubs ;)

That's a typo right? You mean 18lbs....I ain't buying 28lbs of air. :noway:

yeah. caltracs with split mono leaf springs. standard monroe sensatrac shocks in the back and crappy comp engineering shocks up front thats all, stock ball joints, reg. rubber control arm bushings, no tricks really. it just works great
1.42 60ft with 9" slicks at 17lbs of air, no mufflers, foot braking 3k
1.48 60ft with the drag radials, with mufflers, and only footbraking right off idle.

im feeling a 1.39 on the DR in good air with no muffs and stalling it up

Something I noticed when we ran the MT's any lower than 18 psi, that rounded corner would compress a lot. Depending on how hard the suspension hits the tire, MT DR's may need higher air pressure. Burnout is another thing with these. Unlike a slick, these really may need less burnout, possibly more like just a clean up once you get the tire up to temp. Have noticed after driving to and from the track and running them hard, sometimes the tire surface gets a feathered/textured look. Would like to be able to do a burnout, get out and check the tire tread and see if it is all balled up with rubber or smooth after a burnout.

i dont know about right after the burnout but the surface is smooth after a pass.

the higher pressure you can hook at the quicker youre going to be :)

28lbs of air with 5.13 gears? I ran the MT ET Streets once at the drag strip. I put 25lbs in them to drive around on the street. I forgot to lower the pressure and ended up spinning in all three gears down the track and ran high 7's. Lowered the air to 18lbs and ran mid 6's the next pass. And you are doing it on a nothing special suspension with 5.13 gears!

More power to you but I don't believe it. Not for a minute. Not 28lbs and 5.13's. So either that isn't the gear you have or your guage is screwed up.
