Were the 327 engines in the 68 chevelles 4 bolt mains?What would be a reasonable price to pay for a running 327 nothing fancy just running.

There were no 327's back then produced with 4 bolt mains.

Was there ever a 327 with 4 bolt main caps?? I thought just 302, 350 and small block 400s were made in 4 bolt configuration.

No 'Generation I' 327's had 4 bolt mains.

The 2nd generation 327's which I believe began in 68, were 4 bolt main blocks.

Nope.
68 327's were still 'Generation I'
"Generation II" were LT and "Generation III" LS engines.
