I have Verizon DSL on my desktop and it has a wireless router. I'd like to get a wireless adapter for my daughters desktop in her room. What is a good adapter to get? PCI or USB? My router is a Westell 327W. Her PC is an Insignia with Windows XP. My Tivo is on the wireless and it uses Wireless G USB adapter. Thanks for any help.

The well known names are Netgear, Linksys, and Buffalo to name a few. Any of these brands would be a good asset. I prefer the internal cards personally they are harder to break and I think you get better range out of them but the USB ones are portable.

Thanks guys. Looks like the internal pci card style has better range. I think I will go to Staples and Best Buy today and see what they have. I popped the cover off of the case and it has 2 available PCI slots.
