From our early indications, it's starting to look like this year's Chevell-abration is gonna be a big one. Maybe the economy is actually picking up a bit, or people are just tired of waiting for it to do so and are going ahead with their plans anyway. Regardless, I'm getting more calls each day asking "Where's the registration form?" and for hotel info. The form is in the January issue of Chevelle World (just as it's always been) which will be going in the mail right after Christmas. As for hotel info, here's the latest....
One of our Host hotels, the Hampton Inn, is fully booked, but is placing names on a waiting list in case of cancellation. Names on the list will be called in order that they were received. Probably not much hope for that happening, but at the last minute, who knows? Our other Host hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, still has some rooms available but because CB'11 is the same weekend as the annual country music Fan Fair, it's advisable to try get your reservations in as soon as possible.
We've also added a couple of new hotels to the list of those in the area, and deleted a couple that weren't quite up to reasonable expectations. Here's the list as it stands right now. The Courtyard is a new hotel (and close to "Ground Zero"), and so is the Country Inn & Suites (it's a mile away @ Exit 96). Also, just called the Best Western, and they still have limited availability, but as you might expect, the rooms are going fast. Lookin' forward to seeing y'all June 9-11, 2011!!!!
