The 445 4 bolt main block is a good one. It was also used for the LS6 and LS7 crate motors as well as marine applications during its casting period. Value would depend on condition. What is the bore? Has it been sleeved? Has machine work been done? The 454 4 bolt blocks are getting a little scarce these days. I would guess any where between $500 and $1200 depending on condition. But that is just a guess.

One month ago, I paid $500 for a standard bore 454 4 bolt main block that had already been cleaned and checked for cracks.
It is now a healthy new 496 and I pick it up today.

i paid $3500 for a newly rebuilt 496 short block. eagle steel crank,H-beam rods,L-19 rod bolts, srp forged pistons. and it has 1 sleeve and 4 liffter sleeves and 1 headbolt helicoil. runs great. yes they are hard to find.
