made 5 passes friday night and not a clean pass out of the bunch. first pass set the tone for the night. rattled the tires so bad it put zebra stipes in the side walls. 1.70 60' with a 10.85. seems my slicks are done with 50 passes. also the shift controler would not allow the 2/3 shift to happen so i was on the rev limiter all night.
best 60' of the night was a 1.36
best 660 mph of the night 107.92 (this was with the bra installed)
best 660 et of the night 6.33
best 1320 mph of the night 131.66
best 1320 et of the night 10.06
i missed the 9.99 pass because it spun a 1.42 60'. the car has a 9.x in it if i can just get the bugs out of it.
heres a pic of the launch with the bra on it, its held on with a vfew blue jean snaps and goes on and of in a few seconds.

Garret, the ABA on the bra is still a bit sketchy. before i took the car apart 2 yrs ago me and Rafel tapped the grill with duct tape and it looked like it was worth a .1 and a mile and an hour. this yr the 10.06 pass before the bra went on was 130.33 against a 131.66 BUTTTT i had so many problems its really hard to say anything for sure, i actually run out of gas on my last pass. on pass completly forgot to turn the shift controler on. the hole pass sounded like a pulp wood hauler on the jake break for 1320 feet... let me get all my ducks in a row and go back and will have a better report.

I think you should look at controlling oil and water and intake temps at this point, that will give you your 9 sec pass. Seems Ive missed the running weight of this car, could you fill me in on that, thanks.

Mark, the scales were down friday so i didnt get the weight. my best guess is gona be around 3250 W/driver. i do my burn outs at around 140* water and the oil temp is below my gauge readings 5W 25 royal purple. the air temp is ambient (cant really controll that) right into the carb, no underhood heat into carb. its gona go 9.9x once i get my game face back on. a 9.8x is gona be a real hat trick.

You will make it happen, its just the 1.36 60 foot with the MPH, makes it difficult going by Bob Wests numbers, (1.31 @ 131.9=9.98, but there usually more in there, its just finding it and having the conditions to do it. What rear tires are those?

yea, and its on pump gas!
Dave just needs to play with jetting a bit with his new ram-air hood.
try some higher shift points
and get them electronic gismos workin right.
And new tires, these have been sittin for 2 years.
In good weather it will run 9s.

that's a great pic and a beatuiful car Dave...9's or not it's an awesome car.....I'll be interestd in the bra thing too...Dave

seems i missed the tire questions. there Hoosier 275 60 15 radials. they still have a lot of tread left but there 4 yrs old and have done nothing but sit for the last 2 yrs. the car normaly is VERY consistant.
