Hi Guys, Never really worried about an original car before but through a
friend of mine this may be interesting (or not)

1970 SS with all paperwork
Convertible
396
4 speed
console
buckets
factory ac
misty blue turquoise
White interior, top and stripes

at this point that's all I know and have no pictures. My friend is pretty
well informed GTO guy and says it needs work but no panels. I have not
seen this color on a ragtop.

Thanks for any insight:)

There's an LS6 convert in the same color combo that was in the Milt Robson collection.
I found this one pic with it in the background.

I wouldn't kick her out of bed. I like different combos.

I'll Take the white top and interier over black any day of the week  especially on that color car.
As far as "How rare" People on here can give you exact numbers for sure, one thing I know is if the paperwork is genuine, '70 SS verts are very rare and desirable. The term "blue chip collectable" comes to mind.

As far as exact numbers , no they cannot. However you are correct about the verts. If you start looking closely 4 speed A/C cars are not that plentiful. It is a beautiful combo in the sea of so many reds, blacks , and other blues.

I think your right john, that looks very pleasing to the eye. Better than I
thought it would. The only one I've seen that color is on the Chevelle
Stuff site and it was a hardtop with black strips which looks great as well.

Thanks for that picture RixLS6, wish there were more;)

I had a twin to that SS396 with a painted white top /white bench 4spd,white stripes way back in the early eighties. !!! Misty Turquois looks good with both color stripes , the last one I had was and LS-5 with Black sold that one in 08 .
