Sorry to hear this Ron.. Once you get a good break, it just don't last long enough some times, as you know..Getting rid of your ZR-1 was ruff as hell but I thought you may be on your way at that time with the new job that now may end, because of all the county and city cut backs.. It just sucks man.......Seems to be no end now for the last 2 years..
Give the So. Cal. Gas Co. a try, they pay good, they train, all the ben's, 401K, and pension, they done me good..
Good luck Bro.....
Rich
Im gonna look Rich I thought the job would be stable but in the last month out of the 20 somethign buildings we have only 6-7 are still opened place looks like it shutting down so I may be out of a job real soon, thats when things reeeealy hit the fan. Going against my better judgement and banging up my credit to get it done once and for all..now or never.
Tow truck comes about 1030 this dude better do it all and do it right...hes closing down himself in a month or so.

Looking back shouldnt have been a tightwad 2 yrs ago when I had the money.

I have AAA tweak the rear bumper on my '66 Chevelle, years ago... The hook dropped off the axle and caught the rear bumper, and when the driver pulled it, the hook bent the outer corner...

No problems getting AAA to replate/rechome the bumper...

That's because it was their mistake.

Having loose and low parts on your car is not THEIR mistake. I have very good friends that are tow truck drivers and have to deal with people everyday yelling and screaming at them because of damage that is caused by the current state of the vehicle, NOT the tow truck operator!

No offense to the original poster but you clearly knew it was a potential problem before having it towed otherwise you would not have warned the driver about it. It was only being held on by two bolts, why not just remove and reinstall at the bodyshop:confused:

3 weeks and has done nothing on the car boy do I love body shops.
Im getting used to this almost
They don't call it 'paint jail' for no reason.

I think paint/body guys work on Metric time. Whatever time estimate they give you, double it, and add 30 days. That should be close.
