i think people that bought cars from me claim they got them from somebody famous, lol
i have sold cars to several football players, sold some 55 chevy parts to Reggie Jackson,
bought a 68 chevelle from a country music star, forgot his name, but he was on whatever that show is they do, grand old opra or whatever-had the worst looking interior ever, i pulled it out before anyone saw it, lol
had a 57 i built, James Brown from the NFL show wanted it, but i held out for more cash
i bought a motorcycle from Steve McQueens collection, mainly to resell it
when i was wheeling and dealing years ago, used to get calls from various people that were famous for stuff, usually they never bought anything, but was kind of cool to talk to them

Sold Kristen Chenowith a car.
Bought Matt Berger's Camaro.
Bought Don Hardys Caprice and then sold it back to him.
And sold a horse to Terry Bradshaw. :D

I worked on the right rear quarter of a '70 Cuda that was later sold to "Goldberg" the wrestler guy... When I drove my Dad's 68 Camaro to school my junior year, I'd park next to a '71 Cuda convertible that was supposedly later sold to the "Nash Bridges" show. It had a slant-6, but they didn't care. :)

The then-owner of both cars is now famous for ripping people off and bank-fraud. :D

My Chevelle was owned by the guy that owns the "We buy ugly houses" company. If you're from SW Florida then you know them. Those signs are EVERYWHERE!

There is also a long time member here that once had the very first General Lee. That was used in the pilot episode.

Very cool! Is that a 47?
Around there. I want to say '49 but I don't pay that close attention. It was actually supposed to be the car I was supposed to get married in but it wasn't all put back together. :) So we ended up using my friends '39 Caddy limo, which is only a small compromise.

Jay Leno drove my Chevelle. I was working at a Casino - he came to perform - we picked him up at the airport with a limo and my Chevelle - we offered him to ride in either - he picked the Chevelle and I let him drive. Really a nice down to earth guy!

Boy, does he love cars - talked cars for the whole trip.
