I bought a compressor 80gal 5hp and bought some air tools but I was not satisfied with it, mainly the impact would not bust my lug nuts on my 3/4 ton truck. I purchased a more expensive IR impact with more ft/lbs but it was the same. My little yellow spiral air line that was on the end of my airline got a leak so I took it off until I can get another one and bam, my air tools work so much better hooked up directly to the 5/8 air line. the little yellow spiral line has a very small dia. hole and it was choking my air. These are very popular and I see them everywhere. It bust the lugnuts now with no problem. just a heads up for yual if you use them.

i just bought my s-i-l a set up, and the first thing he bought was one of those little yellow hoses. i threw that out, went over to habor freight and bought a quick release set, and set the whole thing up for him. it works great, and it's easier than trying to move everything at once. just pop in what you need, and pop out when your done.

Those air lines are worthless as shop air lines. Air hoses are much more durable for obvious reasons and a lot easier to work with around the shop.
