This women is making me nuts

Why are women so indecisive? My girlfriend is trying to figure out what colors to paint the walls. For the last 3 nights I've woken up with a color splosh stuck to some part of my body from her falling asleep with them all over the bed. I pealed "passion plum" off my cheek this morning when i woke up.

I never knew there was so many shades of one color and as of right now it is looking like I will be doing my business in a PINK bathroom.

Shoot me please! Oh and I will give you one guess who gets to paint all this stuff once she finally does decide on color!

You must be a really good guy. I've thrown GFs out of the house for alot less than that. Assuming this is your house..If a GF didn't like the colors in my house that I already painted, well I just assumed we'd have bigger ussues we would not agree on in the future. The biggest problem I ever had with GFs staying with me was they always thought it was COOL I had custom race engines in my living room on engine stands against one wall, (TILL THEY GOT COMFORTABLE). Then it was, "You need to do something about those engines, I'm not living with them in my living room") ...My answer "Oh Ok..been fun C-ya" ..Then it would start all over with the next trick...

If she's worth it, it's worth it.

My wife deals with my stupid *, I deal with hers. We laugh about it a lot.

I don't take it all too seriously. Life is simply too short, and if you found a good woman, let her have her fun...especially if she lets you have your fun too!

I just ask for one room in the house and let her have her way with the rest. I figure I can drop a bomb in a pink bathroom just as well as any colour........:)

Let her paint any color she wants. It will make your life so much easier.

There was a husband a wife here in Port Hardy and they both rode Harleys. They had new hardwood floors put into their rec room, with 2 large white tiled areas in the middle of the room. Their bikes sat on the tiled areas complete with spot lights shining on them.

Tell her where the paint store is, hand her a brush and say go for it, if she's worth keeping and making happy (remember, if Mama ain't happy, nobody's happy). Trouble is, my wife makes a mess of a paint job (ten thumbs) so I have to do it to get it done right. Then when it's finished (she picks the color, I paint it) she says, "That's not the color I thought it would be. I don't like it".:sad:

Hehehe............My wife does all the interior painting......usually when I am at a car show or Scout outing..............she is getting pretty good at it :thumbsup:........my only gripe is one time she painted our bedroom and used semi-gloss instead of an eggshell sheen........now the walls look like plastic fantastic........ :sad: ....other than that it's all good :thumbsup:

My mother is the same way. I remember she tried to refinish a coffee table. She went through five or six different colors. Then she let it sit, then she wanted to refinish it, she tried to strip it but was unsuccessful. We had this butt ugly coffee table in the living room for 3 or 4 years. She wants to repaint the new kitchen cabinets too, and they look fine! For awhile, the living room looked like a fun house, each wall was a different color.


She wants to repaint my room too, I share it with my brother, my brother wants orange, she wants blue, I want it white and I think everyone else does too. lol.

I think all walls should be white. Plain 'ole white, no frills!

Please do not allow her to do this. If for nothing else than the resale appeal of the house. (No matter how long you plan on staying) When my wife and I were looking at houses, one of the biggest turnoffs to a particular place was the pink bathroom. Pink walls, pink toilet, pink vanity, pink shower, pink everything...

That's why I got my house so cheap - pink fixtures and black tile bathrooms YUCK :(
Since I was in the kitchen & bath remodel business, I changed that.
Now we have black fixtures & pink tile :D
