Can anyone give a bit of guidance or a picture of how this strap is wrapped around the A/C line with the foam pad and heater hose on a 1970 BB?
The assembly manual shows it going around both but the picture isn't detailed enough to see just how it's wrapped.
If you wrap it straight around It'll barely make it around one hose much less the two of them. Do you have to do some kind of fancy weaving?
The one I got is 11.5 inches long #3917385

I got mine from www.oldmusclecars.com part# 3917385
AMK has them as well #B13210

Thanks Dave!

It seems like at 11.5" that strap should be plenty long. Are you tightening the strap enough to crush the foam insulation piece? I seem to rember that the insulation is squeezed down quite a bit.

If you thread the end through the slot and wrap it straight around the diameter is determined by the distance from the post to the hole. With them being 5 3/4" apart (circumference) divide by Pi 3.14 you get a diameter of 1.83" pretty small for two hoses.

Or is this the way?
