Biggest 15's on a 66?

Hey guys,

I looked through the archives but couldn't find an exact answer. What's the largest set of 15 inch rims / tires that will fit under a stock 66? I am looking at a set of 15x10 ralleys.

15x10 w/a 5.5 b/s will be tight, where your shock studs are.I have 15x8 w/a 5 b/s and they fit just nice with 275/60's.

I have 15x8 with 295/50/15s... I also have about a 5-inch offset ( actually 5.08 inch), although it appears that any BS between 4.5 and ~5-inch should work, with 4.75 being about optimum (with the 15X8)...

I definitely agree on the shock-mount... I forgot to measure that, but I couldn't fit my finger between the wheel and shock...

Yesterday, I also measured the width of the wheel wells, and they ran about 12.25 at the minimum (stock, no trimming).

My 295s had 0.710 clearance on the outside and 0.125 clearance on the inside...
