is it safe to bolt a chain to aluminum heads either intake or exhaust bolt holes to lift engine. what is safe don't want to break heads. no intake so can't use carb plate. may seem dumb but 1st time with aluminum heads

No problem at all as long as you use a long enough bolt but I would prefer using the holes at the end of the head
I would like about double the bolt diameter or 3/4" engagement just to protect the threads in the head but you do not need this much for strength, a half inch into the head is fine.
You probably do not want to do either with two or three threads of engagement
