Hi everyone, I've been back at it, now that the weather has broke, yes I don't have a heated garage. Putting in a Tremec 5 speed and new clutch linkage, the car had an automatic, but was a 3 on the tree originally, so it still has the clutch pedal.I'm running into a problem with the linkage and the headers, by the way this is all happening in a 70 ss tribute. Has anyone run into a similar situation? It looks like I could drill a hole in the Z bar above where the existing hole is for the clutch fork rod and it would clear the header. Any thoughts?

Relocating the pushrod/adjusting rod is going to change the geometry of the throw which usually has a negative effect on pedal effort. How far away from the original hole do you want to make a new hole?
