I would prefer 4032 because I don't need the extra strength. The motor will be naturally aspirated and make about 450 peak HP @ 6750, running on 93 PON pump gas. Compression ratio designed at 11.0:1. Pistons will need a dome of about 7cc.
Opinions as to other advantages of 2618 over 4032 other than strength?
I want to minimize oil consumption, and feel that the larger expansion required of the 2618 during warmup will cause oil consumption while cold.
I will use Total Seal gapless top rings, with standard tension oil rings. Block will be honed with torque plates and quench distance will be minimized at (about) .035".
