This subject was covered a couple years back, and over on the Yenko site as well. Here is a link to the discussion over on the Yenko site which also includes a link back to the original discussion that was posted here.

(How's that for convoluted? lol)

Here's an item I'd put right up at the top of the list.

"An usable FINGER GUARD for 66/67 SS Harrison Radiator"

Mike,
Ok, I'll show my ignorance. What does a 66 SS finger guard look like? Any photos? Any information would be appreciated as I'm on the steep part of my Chevelle learning curve.

It's an original 1965 dated unit (1st week of March 1965, to be specific) for a real Z16 Chevelle.
I'm probably showing my ignorance here, but I've been wondering...how do you know if the "5" is for 1965 or 1975? Do you have to be familiar enough with the 3310 series to know approximately when the -1, -2, etc. were introduced?

a couple come to mind...

An usable FINGER GUARD for 66/67 SS Harrison Radiator

A Heavy Duty Harrison Radiator is very hard to find

Original/Correct 66/67 SS Dipstick

There's more.. but that's top three!!

Finger Guards though... :noway: Good Luck!
I know it's only important to us bench seat guys;)... but the shifter carpet grommett has to be top 3 for the 66 guys:yes:

my engine builder hates my 074 '69 datecoded "round" exhaust port heads.(getting all new seats right now)and has done every thing to talk me out of continuing to use them and sell them to some restorer but they were sold and documented to me as having come from one of "grumpys" pro stock engines and i just love them.
but for any of you pontiac guys out there i have a set of RAM AIR V heads and intake.never went into production very rare!you can almost get a tennis ball in the intake port!

An NOS or in good conditon 1967 El Camino rear bumper for a reasonable price. That's my Holy Grail.....
