I had a chance to run my car . The weather not to good , 53 and looked like rain but got 4 passes in . I had a wondering miss that i could not find but ran the car out and was pleased with how well it hooked out of the hole . soooooooo I looked at the msd and the plug wires and found nada .

The second pass no changes to the car but as i drove to the staging lanes it seemed to clear up a little and run a little better . My buddy was on the starting line with his vid cam as well as the track pic guy . So I thought what the hay ill leave on the trans brake as it only had a 3000 chip in the two step . I left on the brake and the car did a nice wheelie and i ran it out and the miss came back .

The car felt realy good on the trans brake .
I made it back to the pits and had a thought that my fuel pressure may be the prob so checked it and it was at 6psi bumped it up to 7psi. and went back to the lanes with trans brake usage on my mind .

The car ran better on that pass but just not running clean you can feal it kind of jerking as its building rpm . but better. I thought as i drove back to the pits im gonna make one more pass and load it up. While in the pits got to looking for a higher chip to put in my two step and noticed that I had plenty of the high end chips but nothing around 4000 so started walking around and asking guys and no one had any . also learned that i had a old school set up . who knew. well after a great deal of walking found one , bing go. it was a 4300 but what the hell. put it in and made it back to the lanes .

Got no pics but a vid on vhs of the car doing a nice hip high wheel stand . Realy felt good on that pass . next time ill step up the chip and see what it will do . This car loves a trans brake. And so do I . Whew hoo Im getting faster . No 1.3 60ft but this is the 2nd time out on the engine, trans, suspension ,converter, slicks, brakes ,you get the idea.
