Slightly Raked Rear End

My rear coil springs on my 71 chevelle are pretty well shot. I am now in the market for replacing them. I would like to have the rear end 'slightly' raked. The only thing keeping a nice stance was pumping my airshocks up. Otherwise the rear end was low. My brother recommended getting Monroe Sensatrac BB coil springs(having a SB 350) for the rear end only. I'm only looking to have the rear end about 2-3 inches higher than the front end. Anyone have any idea how that would look, or if that's a stupid idea?

There is no such thing as a BB or SB coil spring for the rear. Get a set of rear springs for a wagon. I think they raise the rear an inch or two. Don't specifically know what other options you have but there must be other taller springs out there.

I'd have to agree with Andrew.

My opinion, to get a rake, lower the front.

Replace the air shocks with regular gas ones- and then Put AirLift Air bags in the back. They will lift the back about .5" to 1" at about 10lbs- And if you valve them separatly, they will also help with your cornering.

You want the air lift 1000 kit.
Should be about $70 or so through summit or Jegs.
