Ya know, you're so right! I actually have a Patsy Cline CD and it's one of my favorites. But that was real country. Not this rock/country fusion stuff I sometimes hear.

Hey, did anyone else watch Carrie's rise to stardom on American Idol? I got hooked on that show with my wife and sons/girlfriends. Carrie was so pure, so humble, so unaffected by her stardom. How is she nowadays?

I agree, there are some beautiful women in country music now. The first time I saw a poster of Shania Twain ( many years ago) I said maybe I should give this music a chance. Been hooked ever since. Was nice to see her again last night. But Carrie Underwood is so beautiful. She could have me if she wanted me.

Taylor swift is 17 isn't she, makes it illegal in CA. Not sure about your other states though, that might be fair game!

Too bad country music is nothing but 3 chords and a bunch of marketing hype, same with pop rock or pretty much anything on the radio these days. If they weren't easy on the eyes, who would listen to that crap? I made the switch to bluegrass and havn't looked back, there are some hotties that do that as well. Met my wife at a bluegrass gig as a matter of fact. :)

Carrie Underwood is hot. What I don't like about today's country stars is they are just singers. Most can't play an instrument anymore than I can. They don't write the music or songs. They just look hot and sing. Hey if I was hot and could sing I'd be on stage too, just to make some $$$ and fade away in a few years.

I've got that album around here, somewhere among maybe 5000 to 6000 albums. It was lots easier just to find the picture online. No one really wants to see a current picture of her though. :noway:
