I work with a guy who's infatuated with Taylor Swift. What's with all these cute country singing girls nowadays?

Don't watch the performers, just listen. For me, it wouldn't be worth watching anyone if I had to endure the country music with it :noway:

Listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kansas, the Cars, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Violent Femmes...that's the stuff!

CMT did a "Crossroads" with Taylor and Def Lepard. I caught the end of it but the DVR is set for the next time it's on. Dang she is the hotness!

There are sure some hotties in Country. I am a little older and do think all the above are sweet, but I grew up with a Tanya Tucker crush and if you ever so the layout on the Vinyl album of T-n-T, you would know why. If posted the pic I'd have to move this thread :D here is the cover:

I was so glad some one posted this on youtube:

More vintage TT:

Her version of not fade away at the beginning of the movie Christine is off of the T-n-T album. Her rendition of Already Gone on the Eagles tribute album also fits that style from back then.

Todays version of country music is not that much different than the bands you listed with the exception of maybe the cars and Violent femmes.
