Johns dad Called this evening with some very sad news, At 7:30 this evening John lost his hard fought battle with cancer. He was a great guy, and a good friend he will be missed. His dad asked me to thankyou all again for helping to fullfill his dream. I will post info about arrangments when they have been made.

Sad So Sad. He's In A Better Place.

As I get older I wonder will I ever get my wish. A cure for cancer in my life time. May the Lord comfort your family and welcome you home. RIP John.

The world and the hobby lost a good one. God bless, John.

And I'll also add that we should all be so lucky as to find a friend in life as devoted as you, Ken.

I will include John and his family and friends in my prayers. Very sad time I am sure. Hopefully everyone can take comfort knowing he is not in pain now. He is in a better place.

So sorry to hear, prayers are being said.

To the folks who helped John get his dream car:

Sad to hear the news. No one like losing a comrade, be it friend, son, husband, or father.

But you should all be proud, VERY proud, that you got involved and gave him that dream car before this happened.

You are good, no great people, for doing that.
