I was wondering about the VIN and Engine block numbers. I recently bought a matching numbers 67 Chevelle SS. The VIN is 138177A152662 and the engine block is stamped 17A152662. Since the numbers are missing a 7 on the block from the VIN number. Is this correct?. Do I have a matching numbers car or not. I am new to the numbers matching game. Thanks for all your assistance.
