Maybe I work on crooked cars but how the Hell do you use a 8 with a 275-60 unless the BS is 5 inches instead of 4 without cutting on fenders or lips????
scott ......... why ?? if you can't get any more tire on it then 235 ..... what need is there for an 8" rim ??? unless you get custom offsets an even then your not going much bigger then that in the front without it rubbing on the turns
also .......... custom offsets will mean that the tires can't be rotated.... fronts will only fit front , rears only on rear .... kind of kills the whole reason for having the same size tires all the way around
EIGHTS wont work??? With a stock 4X4
CORVETTE rally with a decent size tire
Without bodyworkor custom BS NO WAY NO HOW
Not on a 65 stock chevelle or elky
I put that rite up there with a stock truck 454 that wings with a stick 7500 rpm every shift and its been togather 10 years righttttt Didnt happen
rears are 5" bs ralleys.the lip is trimmed only where the bulge of the tire is,between the screw holes so i can still put the chrome trim on if i wanted to.
I just like the look of the 8'' better but if they won,t fit then I'll stay with my 7's thanks for the info you probably saved me some $ plus the time!
