Something came up I cannot get out of and I will miss the BBQ:( I will still take care of the bugers and buns, I'll send them over with Brian. I'm really bummed about this too, planned on one last outing in the '70 in full street only trim:sad:

Sorry to hear this Mike, I'm sure someone else can take over burger duty. What are you going to do to the 70? Dont cut up my future car! :mad:

Thanks guys, I really want to be there.

If I had the cash right now it would be at the shop getting fully tubbed and caged, with a new baby on the way it will have to wait a couple years.
Plans are to finish a mild small block for it and run at the track next year. All I need now is the short block finished, a converter, and a reverse pattern shifter. I would like to up grade the igniton too because I plan to rpm the crap out of it:D Also not sure what to do about the rear. I have all parts needed to build up the 12 bolt but not C-clip elims and the proper axles for them. With that expense and the price these 12 bolts are going for I might look into a 9" conversion. I don't know for sure though.

my roomate has that 12 bolt just layin around im sure he would be willing to trade for some good stuff. also roger has a 9" with the chevelle ears already welded on i think he said it was a 66-67 but its only a couple inches shorter right? it has 4.11s with a posi so its all good to go.

it looks like i probably am not going to be able to make it. bosses at party city like the way i work so im gonna be gettin fourty a week starting next week. tuesday through saturday. oh well i get sunday off so monster bash here i come. if i could skip a day of work i totally would but with no end in sight i need to make whatever cash i can

I had some unexpected things come up and might not be able to make it. I am on official "Waffle" status

Apparently I cannot go back and edit my first post now...so...here is the latest update as I know it...

Doc', said we should plan on starting around 1:00-2:00 pm and end whenever. If you need directions just PM Doc with your signed waiver form! :D

1) Fried Chicken (Paul...aka 65lkey)

3) Hamburger patties and buns (OPEN: Mike...aka 66SSFan cannot make it)
4) Some sort of Steak, Beef, Pork (Brett bringing Pulled Pork...I hope that is the only thing he is pulling!)

6) Sausages (I will bring these)
7) Corn on the cob
8) Salmon?
9) Chips (seriously...doesn't everybody bring these? Don't we end up with like 20 bags?! :) )

11) Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, BBQ sauce (Greg...aka 66 Buick Special)
12) Lettuce, Tomatoes, Relish
13) Vegetables

16) BYOB! (Everyone who is of age...remember as Doc has said...this is a social gathering not a drinking fest. We don't want anyone hurt or in jail)
