Downtown Chicago was $4.29 this weekend for regular unleaded. Just a bit outside of Chicago I saw gas for $3.37, and getting back home here I see it has come down a bit to $3.42 a gallon for regular unleaded. What a ripoff.

I paid 3.09 a gallon today. Near by place ( LeClair, Iowa ) had 87 octane for 2.99 a gallon today. Nice to see it drop. Too bad with the bailout bill Everything will likely rise in the not so distant future. Double digit inflation here we come.

No wonder ya can't get $700 for an original 67 SS Hood near you ... Gas is too expensive, people can't afford original sheet metal!! :D
I hate Illinois. Probably correct though Mr. Crown, as gas is the highest in the country in little ol' Chicago. Most make a good living in this part of the state, and we gladly give most of it to our very fair, law abiding politicians.

$2.95 here in Wichita and dropping... I hope this trend last for awhile. The news reported the a barrel of oil has dropped to $87.
I guess the rest of the world is starting to underdstand that when the USA stops spending the rest of the world suffers too.

we paid $3.09 in Ohio on Sunday. It was down to $3.30s when we got back to town last night. Definitely coming down.

$3.45 at Costco yesterday. That's down a buck since July. The sad thing is we think this is good!
This is what has me ticked off about this whole deal right now. Currently we are at $3.42 a gallon down from a high of $4.08. I really am pretty certain Wisconsin is dropping the slowest or darn close to the slowest in the country. What a joke.

We got you beat, the cheapest I can buy it around here is 3.55. Highest I think I saw it was 4.39.
