I was wondering if anyone noticed the original 1970 Chevelle commercial has been pulled from You Tube? What happened to it? I was looking for it to refrence the stripes on the deck lid. Are there any other '70 Chevelle commercials?

Yes, that's it. Last night, a freind and I were pulling the rear window miolding off and he asked about the stripe, where it should stop. I tryed the pull this video up to show him and couldn't. Got a text that said it was removed due to misuse....
That car may actually may not be correct. It is a pre-production car and has a few oddities that didn't make it to production. One is the dashboard with silver rings around the turn indicators. That feature is used now to spot a reproduction dash board.
454 cars would be nice to see. The '69 and '70 only show the 396. I saw a '70 Camaro commercial that commented on other power plant as an option that was available. Maybe the 396 was to get you to the dealership and then unloaded the 454 option when you were there.
Looks to me like the stripes stop before the rear window, which would be incorrect for the production cars as well. THey ran all the way up to the chrome.
