Here is the chevelle with a Foose Legends 18 x 8 wheel. Opinions are very welcome. I has a 4.75 back space. I like the wheel, but am not sure it doesn't need different rotors & calipers behind it. Maybe larger rotors and slotted/drilled would be a better look.

Tell me what you think.

Thanks
Larry

Try putting the jackstands on the rearend so the car is at ride height. I like the rims, as for larger rotors, If you have the money go ahead, But I'd get some of those polished shields. That would look good.

What size tire are you going to run?

They don't look bad but I think you may have a slight traction problem.............:D

I think they would look much better with larger rotors behind them.

I like 'um. I would go with the slotted or drilled rotors. Maybe the CPP C5 brake kit, those red calipers would look real nice against the body color. Why 18x8 instead of something wider? even a 350-375hp motor is gonna make those tire scream for mercy... JMO

Sorry but any aftermarket wheel should not be chrome finished unless its a Keystone or Cragar SS and similar. Personally I don't like anything Foose makes as far as wheels. If you like that style look at Intro, Billet Specialties, Rushforth, Budnik, ect. All make much nicer looking wheels in polish aluminum.

Thanks for all the opinions, they all help. One reason for 8" instead of 10" is I am concerned about there being enough room in the wheel well for 10" wide rims, I have a 66 GTO with 8" rims and 265/75/15 on the rear and it is very close. I just don't want to get stuck with too much tire under there. I will be going to a big brake set up of somekind to fill the wheels. The wheel debate still goes on, have looked at wheels till I see them in my sleep.

Thanks
Larry

If you like them, that's all that really matters.

Personally, with your color combo,I would do a grey spoked wheel or a black wheel with polished hoops and hardware...as long as you were going with all your chrome and trim. The car looks killer enough, the chrome wheels to me draw your attention away from it.Wheels that blend in more with what your concept is for the car will compliment it more,IMHO.

Just my .02 worth...

are they chrome or black chrome? it may be my monitor, but i thought they were black chrome.....

if they are chrome, look for something else if you still have a chance. a darker center with a polished hoop would look killer.

check out rushforth wheels from jon at driverzinc if your mind has not been made up.

Well looking at the results and with a lot of help from musclecarjohn:hurray: the wheels and tires have been selected and ordered. Again with great input from musclecarjohn, we went with Rushforth Super Spoke wheels with a brushed center and polished lip- 18 x 8 front with 245/40/18 and 18 x 10 with 275/40/18 rear bf goodriches. Also the big brake kit should be in this week and we are going to 2" drop springs all around. Again thanks to all who voted, commented and especially to musclecarjohn. :beers:

Thanks

ET Team Five wheel. Either the Vintage V wheel in 15 x 8 or 15 x 7 Vintage or Classic five wheels.....

I try the wheels and when I get sick and tired of the shaking and flexing around deep turns I go back to the Chevrolet Rally wheel. The first gen seem to be the strongest but as far as looks go the Z-28 Spoked wheel is beautiful..
