Congrats Brian!! :beers: VERY NICE! You have earned it!!! Is a cage now in your winter projects list?
:beers: Thanks Dave! I haven't decided that yet. I will eventually have to do something if I want to continue pursuing that awful disease we have. I want to put in some Santhuff springs and adjustable shocks on it. I would like to upgrade the front brakes and control arms, but all that stuff gets real expensive.
I want to also try some radial slicks next year.
Congrats Brian!
:beers: Thanks Jason!
Not bad Buddy, Now come down here and do that!!!!:hurray::thumbsup:
Hey Mike!! :waving: How about we meet half way and see if I can do it at DA'Grove in a couple of weeks?
You know Route 66 would have shut me down on that 1st 9sec pass.
congrats man.
Thanks!! :beers:

Thanks Bob....It sure doesn't do wheelies like yours though:mad:
Congrats! Don't get caught up trying to wheelie like the guys do with the later/shorter wheel base chassis. According to some of the best in the business of Stock Eliminator the 3" longer wheel base of the 66/67 cars will never wheelie like the 68 and up cars. We are just at a geometric disadvantage:D:(.

Thanks Chad!! I have questioned that myself........Does the 3" make that big of a difference. It appears that it does because the later chevelles and even newer g-body stuff seems to wheelie much easier. They all seem to have wheelie control problems while we are just barely carrying the wheels enuf to transfer weight.

Your better off without the wheelie. That '65 that Todd put on here didn't do a big wheelie and it still ran a 1.27 sixty foot, all it takes is power.

And traction :D

:waving: Hey there Harold, has your son been racing at all?
Brian

Ron ,
where you been you old salty sea dog?
I'm not all that salty.......
Well, regrouped after the wheelie and ran a couple of races w/o the nitrous. Kinda boring....
Now my license has expired, so I guess it's no more bottle runs this year.
we have one heads up race left, weather permitting.
