Well, decided to go bracket racing yesterday.
It finally happened  And on top of it I went all the way to the finals.
And to think I was very close to just staying home and working on the house.
Weather was about 58* and very overcast.
Intermittent misting but never enough to wet the track down, just so that you could feel it and see it on the cars.
DA was around 750ish +/- all day based on weather data.
New bests all day long:thumbsup:
First pass off the trailer, I was so excited and thought well.....lets see if can back it up and sure enough I did, all day long.
New bests of 1.39 60ft(car has gone 1.36 with different converter), 6.27 in the 1/8,109mph 1/8, 9.92 1/4 92 octane straight from the pump.;)
At my local track WIR raceway.
Made it to the finals and got runnerup.
.005 light to my .036 light, I had the better package but he got there first.

Congratulations! It was just a matter of some cool weather to get you there! Very consistent too! Looks like you've got the tune dead on!

I know it sure feels good to clear that big hurdle!!

Great job, you finally got there. Now like was said comes the bad part about the 9's, the heavy jacket, pants, collar, gloves, full face helmet, license test, chassis certs, renewals. All for .01 of a second.:D

I feel like a proud parent!!!!!!!! You've worked your @zz off to get to the 9's. This is a great accomplishement with a pump gas street car and a combo under 500 CID. You've built a hell of a combination.

Holy H3ll Yea!!!

So thats with the Edge Converter back in there?

Congratulations Brian :beers:
After all this time & all of those "bolt right on parts" :D
your hard work finally got you there

And thank you again for allowing us to be a small part of it too.....

We luvs us some 9's.
Yes we does!

Awesome! But,

If he got there first and didn't break out, he had the better package.:D
I guess it was early :clonk: I should say, I was closer on the dial but he took me out at the tree. As you said, he had the better "package"

Congratulations Brian :beers:
