I'll heading up to Maine next Saturday. Are there any cruise nights or anything in the Brunswick/Bath area? I'm driving my 69 Malibu up there and was looking for a cruise night or something like that to hit up one night. I did some searching online and the closest events I found were in the Lewiston area which is about 1.5 hours away from where I'll be staying. All the rest of what I found were way too far away to take a ride to during the week.

Tom, the car show in Bath that Scott (Axeman) mentioned it is a very good one - I've been to it twice before. For a $5 entry fee thay gave out about $15 worth of free stuff!

Heck, you might even get a prize or an honorable mention for 'furthest distance driven'.
Here's another car show/cruise night source that I help put together: http://www.frankslistmae.com/August.html

Tom, if you need anything while you're up this way....give me a call. 207-878-3962.

I hope I can make it to the Bath show though....but the chores are piling up that I have to get done during daylight hours - you know how it goes - the weekends whizz by and it's back to work on Monday.

I'm going to go to that show in Bath on Sunday. It's only like a half hour from where I'm staying (Lake Pemaquid in Damariscotta).
If any of you guys go, look for this car with the NJ plates.....

Here is a link to the Bath show below.

I see that they increased the entry fee to $10 but it still includes a T-Shirt. Somebody must have done the math last year and realized they were giving away the farm!

They have a furthest distance traveled award too Tom!! They had some small signs with arrows that said 'car show' on route 1 to help guide people to the place.

Ah, to hell with the chores - I'm going! I'll keep an eye for you.

Re: Maine Residents...got to meet some members today

Well it was a great day for that car show today. The weather was perfect, cool and a nice breeze.
The show was held in Bath, Maine (City of Ships - huge boat building town in the 1800's)
A decent turnout and I got to meet two fellow TC members.
BlueSS454 (Tom Rightler) drove his '69 Malibu all the way from New Jersey - 480 miles - to attend during his vacation. He won a HUGE trophy too. Also AXEMAN39 (Scott) showed up to be social with us and drove his wicked nice '69 El Camino.
Here are some pictures.
You'll all be pleased to hear that the 'Best of the 60's' category was the biggest group there and won by - you guessed it, a Chevelle!

It was very cool to meet Tom and The other Tom, both have very nice Chevelles. I was just passing thru on my way to a wedding when I stopped in just to meet the other members of team Chevelle that were there, it was worth it. Its nice to put names to faces. Anyways, Tom I will try to make it to the Shaws Ridge show on Sunday, if I can't make it I hope you get the turnout you hoped for. Leo you can't buy sweet tea in Maine, its like its illeagle here or something?

Good to meet you too Scott.

I agree, sweet tea is impossible to find around here.
It's like heaven to go down south and be served a big glass of it by a friendly waitress.

IT was great to meet and hang out with you guys this Sunday. I'm hoping we get to do it again next year. Although I just found a cruise night at Fast Eddies Drive in over in Winthrop. I have nothing to do tomorrow so I think I'm gonna take a ride over there if any of you guys are interested. I just saved my directions and whatnot so hopefully I don't get lost :).
