You can't sometimes because moderators decide its not to par and delete them or close them. It's pretty lame!
Nail meets Hammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sandra you will find your posts removed as they mainly for sale items. For sale stuff goes here: www.chevelles.com/classifieds. There is another for sale area for members only too but you have pay the annual membership ($20) to view/post. In fairness to our sponsors who also adhere to these rules, please refrain posting for sale ads and your posts will not be removed. Lastly the classifieds get more traffic than our forums so it would be a good place to hock your wares. Good luck with your sales![]()
Thanks for the support Eric. You are absolutely correct. These decisions are always tough. Hey, I'm just an Italian kid, trying to get along. LOLMay I suggest to the member that our site and its moderators are not lame, and that 1 month membership and 17 posts is not a sufficient amount of time or activity to make an adjectival and conclusory judgment such as that.
One hallmark of our Chevelle site is that the membership generally does not make such judgments against moderators or other members without substantial and reasonable evidence to support such conclusions.
After 12 years and aggregate of more than 20,000 posts on websites I belong to, it often seems clear when a member joins for purposes other than cameraderie and hobby reasons. Sometimes there are commercial motivations, which usually betray themselves eventually.
I apologize whole-heartedly if I have offended anyone with this post. Sometimes I just have to defend what I believe is right, or correct that which I perceive to be an unjust and undeserved act or statement.
On a happier note, the full-window doors look nice, even though I prefer my wing windows.

Very well spoken, Eric. I concur wholeheartedly!May I suggest to the member that our site and its moderators are not lame, and that 1 month membership and 17 posts is not a sufficient amount of time or activity to make an adjectival and conclusory judgment such as that.

Cool! You learn something new everyday!:hurray:Change your DISPLAY OPTIONS setting at the bottom of the page that lists the threads to more than a couple days. If you use beginning as your starting point every thread here will be listed.
Edit: I went and looked at your profile and your setting for display is set to the default which I believe is 24 hours. Using this link:
http://www.chevelles.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions you can adjust how many days you of past threads you want to bring up (under THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS). Pick the time and then use the save changes button at the bottom of that page linked and it will keep it that way until you want to change it again.
Everyone is intitled to their own opinion! I've been on several forums and NEVER had any trouble. Good luck with all your projects!May I suggest to the member that our site and its moderators are not lame, and that 1 month membership and 17 posts is not a sufficient amount of time or activity to make an adjectival and conclusory judgment such as that.

Its not an opinion, its site rules. These are forums which are not designed as a market place. Thats the classified section. Trouble or not on other forums, this is not your average forum which is why its so great. Again not my opinion, just a rule I follow and every member should as well.Everyone is intitled to their own opinion! I've been on several forums and NEVER had any trouble. Good luck with all your projects!
