OK..my signature shows my car specs.

I running MT ET Streets that are 27 x 10.5.

I have been running around 16 lbs of pressure, but the inside and outside where wearing bad. I have made different increases all the way up to 22 lbs and have not noticed a better result in traction.

Hear is what I have notice. My right rear quarter panel has very little rubber on it, where as the left rear a good amount. The right rear seems to stay cleaner on coming off the track whereas the left gets alot of gravel. The right rear also has a soft rubber build up on the outside rim of the tire.

I'm using the Hotchis springs which aint that great for racing.

Any ideas?

the inside will wear faster due to when doing a burn-out the tire "ballons" causing the center to wear first. as for the outside, is probably just due to driving on them. my et streets were on my car and I drove it off and on for 5 years. best times in sig below with them. 28X11.5X15

I don't drive on them. I trailer the car.

What is causing the left rear tire to have a gummy ring on the outside of the contact patch?

i run et drags and sportsman pros on the street the sportsman pros last longer and grip almost as good as the slicks, as long as you heat them up pretty good you're alright

if its not a daily driver and you don't need to worry about the law stay with slicks but they cost a lil more

i like the M&H race masters and sportsman pros there a lil cheaper last a lil longer depending on your right foot and how many burnouts you do :beers:
