As some of you may already know I am buiding a 383 stroker. Well the time has come to pick out a manilfold and carb. The question is what is a good manifold carb combination that will fit under a 69 ss hood? I have heard good things about the edelbrock performer RPM air gap but will that fit? thanks

On my '65 a regular RPM and 3" air cleaner hit the hood. If I remember I had 1" drop base also, I know the hood lines are lower on mine but the Airgap is taller.

I bought that brand and it has lots of castings flash. The Eddy's have a much better finish to them.

go with the air gap and a holley 750 vac sec. for auto or a holley 750 mech. sec. for manual tranny. will be a solid setup for a 383

should fit with a dropbase air filter, maybe a k&n 3x11? i think thats what i run
