As some of you may already know I am buiding a 383 stroker. Well the time has come to pick out a manilfold and carb. The question is what is a good manifold carb combination that will fit under a 69 ss hood? I have heard good things about the edelbrock performer RPM air gap but will that fit? thanks

I know the RPM will fit nicely under a stock SS hood on a 69. I have seen the Air Gap fit under someone else's car. This is with a drop base air cleaner.

Im not going to get that manifold since it wont fit. but Jim what do you mean about castings flash? Just wondering

How much of a drop base would you guys suggest and do you have a link to a place that sells them? thanks
