But I'm catching up. It has been a long winter and I've had zero time for the car. The motor will go on the dyno next Thursday and I'll bring it home, so it looks like I'll be able to be there WITH the car to run one last time with Mark, and I'm just looking forward to running with everyone again. Being the only REALLY WEST TCNW guy, I guess I need to figure out a way to get all you Northenders over here.

Things have been so hectic for me, I didn't want say anything until I thought I'd make it. Things just came together here in the last couple weeks.

Hey Mike P, my daughter has been drivin the wheels off that wagon!:D

Right on Mike, cant wait to see the new motor make a pass. Gona have to need a rollbar now huh?:D

Were gona have to wait till later in the season to go heads up as I wont be ready. I will just be film boy that day. Why couldnt I tear my car apart when I was 21 so I could get a heads start on you fellas at the track since I wouldnt be racing?

Care to spill the beans on what you changed?

I don't think it'll be anywhere close to needing a rollbar, Brian. :noway: The biggest change is the cam. Erson custom grind solid FT I.634/.E.638 Dur 263/268 @ 050 107 lsa. New lifters w/EDM holes, Crane full roller rockers, new springs and pushrods. Britco is porting the 840 rectangular ports that were on it.

I've run the motor for 4 years in the stock L78 configuration, so I figured it was time to play a little. We'll try a couple different carbs on it to see if there is much to be gained over the 770 SA that it has.

I know he put a crazy cam in it! Have you had to do much work to that wagon yet?
Crazy,.....probably! Haven't done much to the wagon Brett, but I have some parts stocked up.

Many thanks to Mike for installing the 373s. Here are is a pic of the working end of the car with the gears installed and a pic inside the super secret skunkworks shop in an undisclosed location.

It was the first time I'd had the rear apart and we discovered that my right axle tube had been repaired and that the right axle was wearing rapidly. She'll hold for the power level and tire that I'm running but the first chance I get, there's gonna be a new Moser complete rear underneath it. Can't wait to see how much of a difference they make in my 60' times. From the seat of the pants feel at a couple of redlights, its gonna go faster:D

Mike,
Glad to see you up and about on TC!

Mark,
Glad the 3.73s are in!

Really looking forward to seeing you and the family again at bremerton and its good to hear your daughter is enjoying the wagon:thumbsup:

Hey Mark, how's the shoulder. Bet seein that 3/4 drive ratchet and breaker bar again makes ya wanna sip some Jameson's!:D
Lucky they make sports cream:D You're right, have to treat it from the inside too:thumbsup:

Gettin' old's a bitch:yes: The pinion nut was still tight and I couldn't turn it anymore.
