79 Camaro muffler question

I bought a Jegs 2.5" mandrel exhaust kit for my 79 Camaro and I am wondering what offset works best for the mufflers, ie center/offset, offset/offset or center/center. I will be running tail pipes. Thanks for the help.

Just look up the stock ones on the Dynomax site or something. Whatever those are, that's what will work. At all. Anything else, will not work. At all.

Only the Z28's had dual pipes and mufflers. These were offset in / offset out.

You'd be best to check with your exhaust system manufacturer as to what to use ( either offset /offset or offset/center). Depending on who made them, it could be either.

i have offset/center Full Boar mufflers on my z28 with 2 1/4" summit tail pipes. they fitted nice.

should be offset /center I had an 80 berlineta and it had duals and they were offset/center same body
